NTPF Panel of Private Hospitals June 2021

Tender description

In September 2017, the NTPF established a panel of private hospitals for the provision of adult and paediatric in-patient and day case procedures. In light of the success of the 2017 Panel, the NTPF established a new panel in 2020 to cover specific high volume procedures across a number of specialties. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Panel has not achieved its full objectives and the NTPF has decided to bring the 2020 Panel to a conclusion on the expiry of its term. The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a significant increase in waiting list numbers and new limitations have arisen with respect to the extent to which private hospitals can help address waiting lists. With this in mind, the NTPF has decided to establish a new 2021 Panel that focuses on addressing the increasing waiting lists for hospital treatments. Lot 1: The NTPF is seeking to procure Inpatient and Day case (IPDC) hospital procedures and Outpatient (OP) hospital consultations for patients who are on the IPDC and OP waiting lists.
