HDD- ITT-47569 - Counselling Sessions – North Pembrokeshire Cluster

Tender description

Hywel Dda University Health Board are seeking to commission counselling services for adults (18+ years) with mild to moderate mental health concerns to support to all eight GP Practices within the North Pembrokeshire Cluster for an initial period until 31st March 2022 with an option to extend for a further 12 months should funding continue to be available. In addition to the provision of counselling sessions the cluster require qualified counsellors providing the service to supervise up to 4 student placements each to continue the development and expansion of the counselling workforce across Pembrokeshire. The aim of the service is to increase the number of counsellors available within Pembrokeshire, to increase the number of clients receiving Health Board funded counselling session’s year on year with a reduction in waiting list times by increasing capacity. The service will offer a combination of face to face and virtual counselling and aim to deliver an efficient service across North Pembrokeshire. Any face to face appointments must be provided from a venue within the locality as detailed on the map provided.
