Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation Plan - Ground Investigations Contract

Tender description

The project entails the completion of an ERA and Remediation plan for Knocknagarm Landfill. KCC's Consultants undertook a desktop review of the available info for the historical landfill, located in the Curragh, Co. Kildare. The results of the previous ERA completed for the landfill identified that the overall risk classification of Class A(High) was identified and represents the intrinsic risk that the landfill site may pose to the Env. Based on the review of the available data, it was recommended that a supplementary site investigation is undertaken to verify the potential risks associated with the SPR linkages. KCC hereby propose to procure a competent SI contractor to carry out such works in accordance with the attached documents.
