Tender description

During QTR1 2021, procurement presented to the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust “MSE” board a series of opportunities that it believes exist within the existing procurement landscape across the NHS and from the emergence of Integrated Care Systems. In order to maximise this opportunity, it identified the need to secure the support of a commercial procurement partner, and the board approved this approach Lot 1: It is envisaged that a commercial partner will not only give MSE access to additional resources and capacity to deliver a “Core” of Procurement services but experience from other sectors will help us to innovate and generate new “Extended” services that provide practical solutions to the problems that the NHS find around data, technology & systems. The combinations of these two elements will give a partnership that can take advantage of the opportunities that we already know exist and be fit to exploit those that are emerging.
