Auction Hall Roof Replacement (Pitched Section Only) at Killybegs Fishery Harbour Centre

Tender description

The project brief is to clad the existing pitched roof section of the Auction Hall in similarly shaped Upvc coated corrugated sheets with all flashings, trims and edges to be fixed to seal the building and all run-off to be drained to existing downpipes. The new sheeting will be fixed to the existing structure using ‘Z’ Purlins as outlined in the Tender Drawings. The existing up-stands are to be maintained for light and are to be sealed. Tenderers must consider and outline their solutions to achieving this. There are clear panels on the gable up-stands of the existing building which are to be maintained to provide light to the internal of the building. The Contractor must cover these in clear material and ensure a water tight finish. This can be discussed with the DAFM Engineer prior to commencement of works. All corrugated materials for this project will be supplied by DAFM with all materials being sourced and delivered by DAFM Engineer for the Works or his representative. The Contractor will supply fixing materials only including screws and brackets which must all be of marine grade materials.
