Tender description

1.The MoD needs continuous accurate technical information on foreign munitions in order to protect UK Forces deployed overseas and to inform Defence Force Protection and Equipment Programmes. Landmines and other explosive remnants of war (ERW) continue to pose a significant threat in regions to which UK personnel could deploy. There is a need to continue landmine exploitation and maintain access to subject matter expertise. The detailed exploitation of land service ammunition combined with a wider understanding of their proliferation and development is required in order to; prepare the force, develop force protection methods and inform counter measures programmes.
