Tender description

The BBC is looking to contract a managed service for the following core requirements: • Hire of all prompting Equipment and accessories; • integration of these systems into the existing studios and BBC infrastructure; • ongoing support for the hardware; • appropriately trained operators for the service who will "roll" the script for a presenter at a speed they (the presenter) are comfortable with; and • occasional purchase of prompting equipment. The services are predominately for BBC News, however other programmes and divisions may also place Orders with the successful Tenderer. The service will be split across three locations, Salford for BBC Breakfast services, and Millbank and NBH for London and Global services. We also support presenters and reporters at offsite broadcast locations.
