Wooddown Bog NHA Restoration Works

Tender description

Under this contract, it is intended for the Contractor to take possession of the development site of approximately 90.1 Ha in area for the purposes of carrying out bog restoration works. The Works can be summarised as follows: • Construction of peat dams within existing drains. • Installation of plastic dams to form weirs where necessary • Construction of sandwich dams where required • Construction of trench bunds, contour bunds and finger bunds • Erection of warning signs cautioning of danger to deep water • Temporary welfare facilities for the Contractors staff and workers. • Everything necessary for the proper storage of materials including sheds,fencing, racks etc. • All tanks and sheds for the storage of fuel
