TEC Partnership - Nunsthorpe Campus Boiler Replacement Project

Tender description

TEC Partnership (formally Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education) is looking for a Contractor to undertake boiler replacement works. The project comprises the replacement of an existing 400kw gas boiler and ancillary services including 4 pumps and BMS controls. The boilers will be mounted on a low frame and header kit to the existing low loss header with new interconnecting pipework. The existing flue system will be replaced. A magnetic filter will be incorporated between the new boilers and the existing low loss header. The project will include removal of 1 No. shunt pump and replacement of 4 No. circulation pumps. The BMS system will upgraded within the existing control panel. All elements of this project will require full liaison and co-operation with Principal Designer in the development of Health and Safety Files and as fitted drawings. TEC Partnership has named a number or products on the drawings/specifications based upon a technical assessment and/or previous use, however the contractor is permitted to offer an alternative if it fully matches the specified technical performance of the named product. If proposing an alternative, an example and full technical specification will need to be provided with your submission and will be subject to approval of the Director of Estates.
