Introduction To reline 2 roof storage tanks as described below at Ascott Court Sheltered home Scheme. Building is 2 floors Access to roof are through roof hatches in corridors. Tanks are sited at high level approximately 900mm above joist level Scope Of Works 1. To drain 2 CWS tanks within roof void, tank numbered CW002 & CWOO3. 2. To maintain services by use of CWS001 3. To reline 2 CWS tanks with a solvent free epoxy lining system that complies with BS6920 is WRAS,FDA and/or NSF approved ,and manufactured to BS EN 9002. 4. On completion of the relining of tanks OO2&003 , take one to be decommissioned , drained/isolated . 5. Supply and Install 2 Keraflo Aylesbury K Type Delayed Action Float Valves In-situ cold water tank refurbishment . • A high build solvent free epoxy lining system to give long term protection against corrosion. • With minimal preparation required making the system ideal for applications where conventional blast cleaning cannot be carried out. • Is suitable for galvanised steel, • The high build surface tolerant base coat, depending upon the size of the tank, can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray onto the prepared surface. • The smooth topcoat applied in the same manner as the base coat. The contrast in colour between primer and topcoat to enable accurate coverage during application • The lining will also resist growth of micro-aquatic organisms (BS 6920: 1988/90).
