Provision of Competition Management, Event Management and Public Relation Services in the promotion of disability awareness in primary schools

Tender description

The development of positives attitudes towards persons with disabilities is important to the effective implementation of the Government's policy to transform existing disability services into supports for independent living in the community. Promoting positive attitudes to disability in the community at all levels and for all ages, is the key to achieving inclusion and ensuring persons with disabilities can reach their full potential. The National Disability Authority has been running a primary school art competition since 2016. The competition, called Someone Like Me, has grown the number of entries received and the breath of its media coverage over the past few years and the NDA wants to maintain this trend.
