FLS is responsible for managing the 640,000 hectares of national forest and land owned by Scottish Minsters in a way that supports and enables economically sustainable forestry; conserves and enhances the environment; and delivers benefits for people and nature. The FLS vision is “Forests and Land that Scotland can be proud of.”, and our mission is “To look after Scotland’s forests and land, for the benefit of all, now and for the future.” Newton Nursery plays a crucial role in FLS' activities, providing millions of trees every year. The team at Newton Nursery require a plant lifting machine for use at Newton Nursery in Moray. FLS is looking to procure a plant lifting machine in accordance meeting the requirements detailed in the attached specification. This PIN is a call for competition. If you are able to supply a machine which complies with the attached specification, please email daniel.rice@forestryandland.gov.scot no later than Friday 30th July 2021. If you would propose an alternative machine it must meet the same criteria.
