Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS England & NHS Improvement North West (the Contracting Authority). The Contracting Authority is seeking expressions of interest from organisations interested in delivering Orthodontic Services, currently provided at the Orthodontic Centre, Riverside Centre for Health, Park street, Liverpool L8 6QP. It is intended that interested providers will be invited to submit a bid for services in early July. Please note, this requirement is an emergency interim contract as a result of a contract hand back and is not related to the wider orthodontic procurement process underway in the North West. The contract will commence on the 1st September 2021 until 31st March 2022 and must be provided from premises located in one of the following postcode areas: L20, L21, L22, L23, L30, L31, L38, L37, L4, L5, L9, L10, L11, L13, L1 (Riverside), L8, L12, L17, L18, L19, L24, L25, L1 (Central), L6, L7, L12 , L13, L14, L15, L16 and L25. The contract value over the 7 month contract term is £205,695 and must deliver 2926 UOAs. It should be noted that this PIN invites individuals and organisations to express an interest in this exercise only, and it is NOT a pre-qualification questionnaire, and is NOT part of any pre-qualification or selection process. NECS is utilising an electronic tendering portal (In-Tend) to manage this process and as such interested individuals and organisations will need to register on the portal to submit their expression of interest.
