Specification We would like to invite you to quote for the following: Please see attached the drawings and specifications for the design in question. The tools should be capable of moulding 300,000 shots minimum, however expect quantities are 2000 per annum. Multi cavity tooling (two or more of the same part) is not required, however 1+1 tooling should be considered to minimize tooling costs. Tool trial costs including but not limited to tool setup, process optimization and molding, should be included in tender. 10 sample parts from each tool trial are required to be delivered to LVLogics. Review meetings (in-person in toolmaker/moulder or virtual) should be included in the tender. Full tracability and quality verification should be provided in line with best practice on the tool material specification. Tool maintenance and upkeep schedule should be provided outlining how the tool is stored, how the tool is maintained and the frequency of tolerance checking. Injection molding max pressures and production parameters and specifications should be provided to ensure the tool is used within its capabilities at all times.
