Objectives 1. Marketing support to maximise collaboration with Delivery Partners and Employers and support the effective recruitment of a minimum of 1,035 learners for Skills Bootcamps running between 01.07.21 and 31.03.22. 2. Associated activities to promote Skills Bootcamp successes and support participants to secure employment. Communication strategy: 1. Recruitment and Attraction: Launch campaign for Wave 2 and promotion of Skills Bootcamp opportunities in support of Delivery Partners. Delivery start dates from July 21. All delivery ends by 31.03.21 2. Delivery: Trainee led content. • Case study management. Each trainee to be supported and encouraged to narrate their learning journey through social media platforms using #SkillsBootcamps and #Train4Tomorrow and by submitting blog content to the Train4Tomorrow landing page. • Support to create a perpetual narrative trail of their skills in development and help individuals build their online profile. Employer led content. • Employer stakeholders to be encouraged to share Skills Bootcamp delivery and relevant sector news and job vacancies using #SkillsBootcamps and #Train4Tomorrow 3. Post- Delivery: Support for continued social media campaigns for 6 months after each Skills Bootcamp ends as a vacancy broker, promoting vacancies from the employer base to the graduating Skills Bootcamp participants. Campaign Requirement: • Marketing materials which illustrate the broad nature of digital and technical roles that can be accessed through the Skills Bootcamps. • Materials / campaign to connect with the DfE national Plan for Jobs comms guidelines as attached. • Materials / campaign written in Plain English. • Materials / campaign to develop the existing South West #Train4Tomorrow brand as a lower tier brand to Skills Bootcamps / Plan for Jobs. • Materials to show progression opportunities to educate and excite individuals about the options. • Inclusive of diverse personal characteristics and behaviours including Age (19+), Ethnicity, Disability and Gender. • Support for case study creation and promotion. • Experience and best practice can be drawn from Somerset County Council’s comms team and the Wave 1 Train4Tomorrow campaign. • Each of the Skills Bootcamp Delivery Partners have substantial marketing influence. The appointed digital agency will brief the Delivery Partners marketing teams, providing them with branding, key messages and asset packs to ensure a consistent and prevalent marketing message throughout the project duration.
