Highways and Lighting Maintenance Contract

Tender description

The London Borough of Redbridge (LBR) will be seeking suitably qualified highways and civil engineering companies to deliver its Highways and Street Lighting Services. The current contract covers: Civil Engineering and Highway Maintenance, Carriageway Treatments, Public Lighting and Testing. The new provision will be split by discipline, in order to address critical success factors such as: innovation, potential in-sourcing of specific services in future; increased Social Value provision; minimised requirement for subcontracting; and consistent provision of service across the borough. Lot A: Lot A Lot A, comprising: Reactive maintenance highway defect repairs to carriageway and footways; Gully cleansing; Drainage and gully repairs; Capital works; Footway crossings; Carriageway resurfacing; and Road markings. Lot B: Lot B Lot B, comprising: Street lighting replacement; and Street lighting and sign maintenance.
