Cheshire East Council remains committed to providing choice for our residents and has identified the need to explore housing options for some of our growing aging population. The Council aspires to ensure any future and existing provision provides a wider community impact in the local area in an inclusive environment in line with the Councils’ commitment to achieving social value. It is acknowledged that to better understand the options around Extra Care Housing, the Council needs to undertake an information gathering exercise to further understand how Registered Providers and Developers view this type of provision looking within the Cheshire East footprint. Lot 1: The Council wishes to consult with organisations that have relevant experience in the delivery, development, and management of Extra Care Housing type provision. The purpose therefore of the Prior Information Notice is to seek the views of market participants, which will help the Council in formulating options to deliver a suitable housing solution. A questionnaire will be available on The Chest e-tendering portal at: www.the-chest.org.uk — Project ID DN551882. Completed questionnaires should be returned via the Chest by the deadline date of 17:00; 21.07.2021.
