Clerk of Works Services - Various Housing Projects

Tender description

New Gorbals Housing Association (NGHA) wish to award a Framework Agreement for the provision of clerk of works services. The framework will be tendered as a single lot with a maximum of three providers appointed to the framework. The framework term is an initial period of 36 months with the option of one further 12 month extension period which may be exercised wholly at the discretion of NGHA. Lot 1: This procurement exercise relates to the procurement of a multi supplier Framework Agreement for Clerk of Works Services – Various Housing Projects . The Authority intends to appoint up to 3 suppliers to the Framework Agreement. The provision of Clerk of Works services associated with the construction of housing including, but not limited to, the following areas: - Site Inspection Service including: - Compliance of the works with the contract documents - Compliance of the works with established good practice - Checking of materials on site to ensure compliance with the specification - Monitoring site activity and construction progress - Recording and reporting on construction quality and site activities - Making recommendations to the client regarding the works as required
