Tender description

To enable Dumfries and Galloway Council to deliver their Climate Emergency 12-point plan and strive towards a net zero target by 2025, the Council are seeking a contract to develop a Citizen's Panel to build on and enhance the work already undertaken and share knowledge and expertise across the region; engage, encourage and support local activities; to further develop the Strategic Plan and Route map towards council and regional climate goals. Dumfries and Galloway Council seek to engage a supplier to design, develop, facilitate and report on a Citizens Panel for Dumfries and Galloway. The supplier will provide options and opportunities to ensure the highest quality outputs are achieved to help the Council's requirement to establish a broad based and diverse Citizens Panel, which will bring together representatives from across the region, harnessing skills, experience and innovation the people in the region possess to inform and influence the action we take as a council against the Climate Emergency.
