Tender description

The Guided Busway was opened in September 2013 and connects the urban conurbations of Luton, Dunstable and Houghton Regis. It carries almost 2 million passengers per annum and serves London Luton Airport with a direct service. CCTV and Help Points are provided for passenger safety. This service is a non-statutory requirement and is required to ensure the equipment remains serviceable so activity can be monitored by a dedicated team in the Town Hall. The cameras are an important asset where anti-social behaviour and vandalism are concerned and have helped to identify offenders in the past with quick response the Police
