Tender description

Irish Water (IW) intends to procure an Asset Investment Planning System (AIPS) to support IW AIP activities and enable optimal asset investment decisions. IW is a regulated asset-intensive organization which must continually make investment decisions on its water and wastewater asset base against competing objectives. Lot 1: Irish Water (IW) intends to procure an Asset Investment Planning System (AIPS) to support IW AIP activities and enable optimal asset investment decisions. IW is a regulated asset-intensive organization which must continually make investment decisions on its water and wastewater asset base against competing objectives. A new Asset Investment Planning System is required to enable IW capture investment planning needs, risks and intervention recommendations supporting IW’s project and portfolio structure. The system will facilitate IW to measure and predict asset performance, utilizing existing or derived failure data to identify risks and opportunities with the ability to undertake cost modelling and to provide project and portfolio governance.
