Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government. The Chief Executive is also The Accountant in Bankruptcy (The Accountant) who is appointed to exercise all of the functions of The Accountant as specified under The Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 (as amended). This Prior Information Notice (PIN) with Request For Information (RFI) relates to AiB's requirement for the provision of Insolvency services. This framework will be intended to cover the administration of allocated sequestration cases where The Accountant is appointed Trustee. These services will be required across the whole of Scotland. The RFI document can be found within the Additional Documents section of this PIN. AiB intend to award a multi Contractor framework for the provision of Insolvency services. The scope of the framework will be intended to cover the administration of allocated sequestration cases where The Accountant is appointed Trustee.
