Tender description

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority is about to publish its new Integrated Risk Management Plan which sets out the Chief Fire Officer’s bold plans for the Service and our communities over the next three years. One of the key ambitions in the Plan is the redevelopment of our Training and Development Academy on a new site, combined with the creation of a new fire station to replace two older stations that are no longer fit for purpose. Before we make any decisions about the closure of those two stations and their merger at the new site, we want to consult the public and are seeking suitably experienced contractors to facilitate focus groups and public meetings in early September. We would particularly welcome interest from providers with previous experience of fire and rescue service consultation, such as station closures or integrated risk management planning, and a knowledge of the Merseyside area and demographics.
