This is a Prior information notice (PIN) in relation to SEAI’s Electric Vehicle Demand Generation framework of service providers. SEAI intends to appoint a framework of service providers to support in the development, implementation and operational management of SEAI’s electric vehicle demand generation programme. The RFT, when published, will be divided into lots. The estimated contract value is EUR 1 200 000 excluding VAT across all lots. The contract term will be for a period of 1 year. Lot 1: EV Dealership/Salesperson Supports and Awards This is a Prior information notice (PIN) in relation to SEAI’s Electric vehicle demand generation framework of service providers. SEAI intends to appoint a framework of service providers to support in the development, implementation and operational management of SEAI’s Electric vehicle demand generation programme. EV Dealership/salesperson supports and awards. Dealerships and their staff have the potential to be enablers to EV uptake. Engaging and supporting EV dealers is a major part of influencing the transition to EVs. Introducing a dealer and salesperson award scheme will add additional incentives and motivate the dealer to promote and encourage EV uptake. It is envisaged that one framework member will be assigned to this lot. The estimated contract value is EUR 300 000 excluding VAT across for this lot. EV Commercial fleet trials SEAI will introduce an EV Fleet Trial Scheme where SEAI will place electric vehicles into service across the business sector in Ireland. Businesses will be exposed to the real-life performance, savings and benefits of electric vehicles without the initial capital outlay. It is envisaged that two framework members will be assigned to this lot. The estimated contract value is EUR 900 000 excluding VAT across for this lot.
