Provision of Digital Education Strategy, Support and Training Services

Tender description

The services comprise of the provision of a Digital Strategy for Education and Training, where the successful Tenderer will review the Contracting Authority’s present online training offering and reimagine how the Contracting Authority offers training and education programmes in a range of formats to suit a range of learner cohorts and contexts. This includes everything from non-accredited short courses to the full-time programmes in the National Fisheries Colleges, to a diverse range of learners across the seafood sector. The purpose of the strategy should be to outline the areas where the Contracting Authority can ‘reimagine’ its online offering, where digital learning is appropriate and where it will fit well within the Contracting Authority’s strategic role for the sector. Leading from the development of this strategy, the project will also require the upskilling and support the Contracting Authority’s Skills development team, to build high levels of confidence and skills, on how to review, develop, deliver and assess online content. The goal is that by the end of the project, that the skills development team shall be self-sufficient in this regard. This upskilling of the team should be delivered through a series of initiatives over the life of the project.
