Provision of Commercial Gas Servicing and Maintenance

Tender description

Blackpool Council sought bids to appoint a single supplier to carry out the operation, inspection and maintenance of all boiler plant and associated equipment, including servicing and completing minor repairs as part of the service up to a value not exceeding £200. Blackpool Council have appointed a Contractor who clearly demonstrated the ability to meet our requirements and who offered the most economically advantageous tender. Lot 1: The successful supplier will be responsible for • Maintaining a working environment for the building users and tenants that fulfils Blackpool Council’s (BC) obligations as defined in the lease(s). • Maintaining the boilers and associated equipment in good working order and to protect the value of Blackpool Council’s assets. • Making adequate arrangements for the Health and Safety of persons in or around the buildings and to fulfil all safety requirements particularly in regard to the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act. 1974.
