DurhamWorks - Exploring Popular Employment Sectors

DurhamWorks are looking for providers who can deliver 'myth busting' taster sessions around a variety of sectors. The purpose of these programmes is to engage eligible young people and re-engage existing DurhamWorks participants and explore with them the nature of their chosen sectors, roles and entry routes. Programmes should be no less than 20 and no more than 30 GLH delivered over 4-5 days within 1 week. We are welcoming bids to deliver programmes across all sectors however you should pay attention to the most popular sectors our demographic of young people are interested in where there are recognised opportunities for progression to Employment , Apprenticeships, Traineeships or Further Education. DurhamWorks has been created as the vehicle to deliver the learning, training, employment, support, and development activities which are funded under European Social Fund (ESF) and Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) funding.
