Tender description

The North West SEND Flexible Purchasing System for non-maintained and independent special schools (NMISS) led by Cheshire East went live on 1.3.21. The business case and cabinet report for Liverpool’s approval to join was submitted on 08.10.20. The sign off for this has not progressed so there is now no contract number for any NMISS placements and invoices cannot be processed. Procurement has advised that an exemption must be submitted for each provider, however Abbey School has not joined the FPS and so the exemption must be submitted until the end of this financial year. SEND commissioned 2 placements at Abbey School. The placements were initially commissioned in academic years between 2020-21, an exeption has already been submitted for 1 placement, the second is a new placement.
