Tender description

Iarnród Éireann has a requirement for the provision of a Digital Fleet Management Platform (DFMP) as an objective tool for managing IE and the group (CIE) fleet, drivers and overall fleet costs. Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) operates a fleet of cars, LGVs and HGVs to facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of the national railway network within the Republic of Ireland. Iarnród Éireann also manages a fleet of leased vehicles to Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus (Cars, LGVs, and HGVs). The three companies operate circa. 800+ leased cars, LGVs and HGVs, with additional towing units, Trailers, tower Lights, cable drum carriers of various weights. The Digital Fleet Management Platform shall be proven industry standard service which can tie in with all IE vendors to consolidate all IE fleet data to one platform including vehicle telematics and fuel usage building a picture of IE whole life costs against each vehicle right through to driver behaviours. The system should be capable of monitoring and reporting on all associated costs through various portals. The Digital Fleet Management Platform (DFMP) should be capable of running reports on the utilisation, of all the vehicles, and be capable of integration with Irish Rail existing third party applications.
