Tender description

The Infrastructure Manager (“IEIM”) Division is responsible for the operation, maintenance and renewal of the railway infrastructure network, as well as the development of that infrastructure network.IÉIM has been designated an Operator of Essential Services (“OES”) under the Network & Information Security (“NIS”) Directive. IÉ IM is regulated as OES’s by the National Cyber Security Centre (“NCSC”)In line with the NIS-Directive, IÉIM appointed PA consulting in September 2019 to carry out a cyber-risk assessment of OT Cybersecurity in SET. Following the American National Institute for Standards & Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework (CSF), IÉIM submitted the assessment to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in December 2019. As a result of the above IÉIM has taken on significant new responsibilities in Cyber Security and requires external assistance fulfilling its obligations.
