C17CSAE Procurement of Cords, Bungees, Thread and other associated equipment

Tender description

This contract is to meet the requirements of the Air Support C17CSAE PT to provide Cords, Bungees, Thread and Webbing (CBT) to support the delivery of Airborne Delivery Equipment (ADE) and Airborne Forces Equipment (AFE). The rigging of ADE loads and platforms on the Hercules C130J aircraft requires the use of various strengths of Nylon Braided Cord and Elastic Bungees which are used to secure components and elements within the rigging scheme and are wholly consumable products. In addition, Airborne Equipment requires cord usage and threads for first line repair of AFE equipment. The cords are used to support a multitude of other capabilities such as Helicopter Under Slung Load Equipment (HUSLE) and Survival, Evasion, Resistance & Escape (SERE) training (both part of the Air Commodities Delivery Team). Airborne Equipment remains the primary user of this equipment but under single item ownership, there is an obligation to support these capabilities as well as our own. Lot Lot 1: C17CSAE Procurement of Cords, Bungees, Thread and other associated equipment Lot 1 consists of a variety of Webbing, Storage bags and containment, Tape and Cordage. Lot 700007009: Consists of a variety of Webbing, Storage bags and containments, Tape and Cordage. Lot 2 consists of a variety of Nylon Braided Cord, Elasticated Bungee and Nylon Thread.
