Tender description

Through the Sierra Leone Secondary Education Improvement Programme (SSEIP), the UK government have committed to support all children in Sierra Leone to have access to quality secondary school education, with a focus on improving performance in English and maths and reducing the barriers of entry to education for girls and children with disabilities. Mott MacDonald were contracted to deliver this project, Leh Wi Learn, from 2016 - 2021. Mott MacDonald support activities under the following outputs - improving access to girls and disabled children, support improvements in quality of education at junior and secondary schools and supporting the Minister of Basic and Secondary School Education (MBSSE) to improve management and data collection of the education sector. Lot 1: The original route to market was via the open procedure, two bids were received. Additional information: CA8 requires a further uplift of £4.25m and a six (6) month extension to the end date of the contract, therefore a further VEAT Notice is being issued
