Tender description

<p>Kent County Council on behalf of the Kent Coroners Service, are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who are able to provide a Digital Autopsy and Body Store Service.</p> <p>Kent County Council and the Kent Senior Coroners have agreed to use DA as the principal means of establishing the cause of death for all cases referred to the coroner that would otherwise be dealt with using traditional invasive post-mortem procedures. &nbsp;DA will be the first line of intervention, but where this does not give a successful cause of death outcome, the deceased will go on for a full or part invasive post-mortem.</p> <p>The successful supplier will be required to provide digital autopsies for an average demand of 3,300 post-mortems per annum, this number may vary subject to the number of deaths within the county per annum. In addition to digital autopsies, the successful supplier will also be responsible for the day to day running of the associated Body Store.</p> <p>Further details are available via the Kent Business Portal (www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk ) and all expressions of interest must be made via the Kent Business Portal.
