National Highways are proposing to put in place a new category management Pavement Delivery Framework that will provide supply and services for our Operations Directorate of Materials, Plant and Labour to carry out surfacing and pavement operations including: bituminous and concrete repairs, surface restoration techniques, planing, paving, iron work adjustment and renewal, Cold Applied Ultra-Thin Surfacing (CAUTS), hydraulically bound mixtures, in-situ and ex-situ recycling, footway surfacing and asphalt kerbing. temporary work, provision of welfare facilities, undertake Principal Contractor duties The scope may also include emergency response. National Highways intends to hold a supplier engagement event on 2 December 2021, to provide details of the Pavement Delivery Framework procurement strategy, following market engagement activity carried out in June 2021. The event has been provisionally booked from 10:30 with an allocated time of two hours, although it may finish earlier. Expressions of interest are invited with interested suppliers requested to email, providing contact details, to: PavementMaterialsFramework@highwaysengland.co.uk no later than 29 November 2021. Suppliers who previously registered an expression of interest for the Industry Day held in June 2021 will be automatically invited to the next planned event, therefore are not required to register their interest again. Further details will be issued to confirm how this event will take place, but this is likely to take the form of a Microsoft Teams call.
