The works covered in this specification comprise briefly the following: Measurement of all Hydraulic flowrates Strip out of existing boiler/pipework and make modifications on the existing system as detailed on the drawings and specification. Complete installation of new condensing modular boiler cascade system, associated pipework and pump sets. Installation of new flue from boiler with heat exchanger system twin wall 200 mm stainless steel. Assess heating water and pipework quality and ensure through appropriate measures that the old pipework and radiator system .All necessary Builder’s Work to facilitate the complete installation of the system.Complete alterations to existing natural gas pipework. Complete supply and installation of associated electrical works, including, Boiler room electrical distribution. Installation of sounder alarm beacon for boiler plant alarm in the corridor opposite the Principals office. Lot 1: The works covered in this specification comprise briefly the following: • measurement of all Hydraulic flowrates for the system prior to commencement and then once again upon completion; • strip out of existing boiler/pipework and make modifications on the existing system as detailed on the drawings and specification; • complete installation of new condensing modular boiler cascade system, associated pipework and pump sets; • installation of new flue from boiler with heat exchanger system twin wall 200mm stainless steel; • assess heating water and pipework quality and ensure through appropriate measures that the old pipework and radiator system does not impact negatively on the new plant due to dirt or corrosion in the pipework; • connect to existing expansion vessel; • labelling of all pipework; • all necessary Builder’s Work to facilitate the complete installation of the system; • complete alterations to existing natural gas pipework; • complete supply and installation of associated electrical works, including, Boiler room electrical distribution. Installation of sounder alarm beacon for boiler plant alarm in the corridor opposite the Principals office; • to complete all associated electrical works as necessary to complete the project as detailed herein the specifications and associated drawings. Strip out of existing redundant electrical services; • all flushing, testing and commissioning; • removal from site of redundant equipment.
