Barrow Borough Council is seeking to appoint a provider to co-ordinate and manage all aspects of external communications for Barrow Borough Council and related brands. The provider will be experienced in content management, handling press inquiries and the use of social media as a positive means of communication. The provider will also give professional support to Council officers to build capacity and will oversee all external and internal communications activity. The provider will deliver a structured PR and content marketing campaign to positively project the Barrow Borough Council brand and to reach the target demographic of customers through a mix of content tailored for appropriate platforms across news, industry and lifestyle brands.
