The School of Physics and Astronomy and the School of Chemistry have received funding for a new material characterisation facility which will become a part of the Centre for Designer Quantum Materials. The facility will include: - Lot 1 - system for the measurement of physical properties such as charge transport and specific heat with a - Lot 2 - second system to specialise in SQUID based magnetic property measurements Lot 1: Measurement System for Physical Properties Section I / System I - Measurement system for physical properties Base System Option 1: Liquid Helium Dewar with nitrogen jacket Base System Option 2: Liquid Helium Dewar / Vapour shielded Base System Option 3: Cryogen Free Dewar Please see tender documents for full details.
