National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, Scotland includes displays of three aircraft currently held externally. These three aircraft require work to their undercarriages and wheels – all three aircraft are displaying high levels of corrosion. This is due to the time displayed outside in a corrosive environment near the coast, surrounded by farmland. National Museums Scotland is now seeking to appoint a contractor with the necessary skills and expertise to carry out the structural repair work to these three aircraft.
