GB-Basingstoke: Procurement of Independent Debt Advice services

Tender description

SHA is procuring an Independent Debt Advice Services to be available to all Sovereign residents irrespective of geography or tenure. It is to cover specialist benefits and debt advice including; • Contacting creditors where resident is not able to do so • Priority and non-priority debt advice and guidance, where resolving these will increase likelihood of rent payment • Council tax • Where there is a conflict of interest with Sovereign e.g. completing court forms • More than two debts • Where resident's debt is beyond the capability or remit of a Tenancy Support Advisor or an Income Officer • Bankruptcies, DROs and IVAs • Historic benefit over-payments • Tribunals • Complex PIP applications • Giving advice and enacting (if required) the respite debt 'Breathing Space' scheme
