1835 — DCS Upgrade for National Industrial Biotechnology Facility 2

Tender description

The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is a UK based technology innovation centre and the process arm of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult. CPI are looking to establish a single supplier framework with a vendor who can supply a Distributed Control System (DCS) as many of the components of the current control system CPI has in place are now classed as obsolete. Lot 1: CPI would like to upgrade/replace our current Distribution Control System (DCS) with a suitable industry leading DCS to suit our business unit needs. During this process the supplier of the new DCS system is required to supply, install and commission the new hardware and in addition produce Application Software which converts the current software to a more user-friendly format. In addition to this there would also be a need to purge the system of any obsolete configuration and provide additional functionality where required.
