Tender description
Met Éireann is seeking to install new wave sensors on existing wave buoys. Our primary aim is to provide near real-time Meteorological and Hydrographic data to Met Éireann from Irish Lights buoys. The objective of this tender is to provide Met Éireann with the Wave Sensors that will capture the near shore wave environment. The key parameters to be measured by the wave sensors are Spectral Significant Wave Height (Hm0), Peak Wave Period (TP) and Mean Wave Direction (qd). Lot 207774: Supply of Wave Sensors for Wave buoys The supply of wave sensors to Met Éireann in order to provide near real-time Meteorological and Hydrographic data to Met Éireann from Irish Lights buoys. This will be achieved through the installation of additional sensors wave sensors on the existing wave buoys
