Provision of Countryside Stewardship Application for Country Park Woodlands

Tender description

This is a requirement for a consultant to put together the detailed application for DEFRA's Countryside Stewardship scheme (woodland improvement). This will unlock in excess of £115k of revenue funding over the next 5 years and £2.5k of capital income to the Council to manage the woodland estate. Thee fee includes the costs of drawing together the application, plus any further site visits which may be required, along with all future communications with DEFRA, the Forestry Commission and Natural England, through to the application determination in August/September 2021.
