The requirement is for the supply of dental articulators which comply with the appropriate national standards incorporating EC Standard including Medical Directive 93/42/EEC in the absence of EC Standards, ISO standards will be accepted. In the research and teaching environment, goods must be “fit for purpose”. This means goods supplied must enable students and practitioners to undertake procedures that are consistent, reliable and reproducible whilst complying with the protocols governing their practices and research. A statement of conformance or non-conformance should be given. Safety Data Sheets must be supplied with all relevant equipment when required.
