Resources for Working Carers 2021-22

Tender description

For the procurement of a 12-month membership of national online resources to support working carers, employers and line managers, in the NHS for a period of 12 months from 09 June 2021 - 08 June 2022. As a minimum, the resources should: •Offer advice and practical support to: -Employers on developing carer friendly policies, practices and a culture which attracts carers to, and supports them in the workplace. Offering the opportunity to participate in a benchmarking and/or accreditation scheme would be ideal but is not essential. -Line managers on identifying working carers and initiating compassionate and constructive conversations with employees. -Working carers on effectively balancing work and caring responsibilities. • Be written in a way that enables the resources to be shared with patients if needed and be available in accessible formats. • Recognise and align to the ethos, values and content of the Working Carers Passport UK scheme.
