PIN South West Edinburgh Canalside Day Opportunities for Older People

Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, through the City of Edinburgh Council, would like to engage the services of a Provider to deliver Care Inspectorate registered day opportunities for older people in the South West Locality. This would be on a blended approach model with a mix of centre based and one to one outreach provision. This is a Prior Information Notice only and it's purpose is to initially engage with possible providers to discuss various arrangements for service. There is also a questionnaire attached to this PIN for market engagement purposes only. The purpose of this PIN is for market engagement. Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, through the City of Edinburgh Council, would like to engage the services of a Provider to deliver Care Inspectorate registered day opportunities for older people in the South West Locality. This would be on a blended approach model with a mix of centre based and one to one outreach provision. There is a possible option that the centre based element could be delivered from the Council’s Canalside Centre in Wester Hailes and is subject to lease arrangements with the City of Edinburgh Council. Alternatively, the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP) are open to hearing about other ways to provide centre based, one to one outreach support, or other types of support for this group, across the area.
