CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE PLACEMENT PROGRAMME FOR THE MILITARY BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST TRAINING PATHWAY The Authority has a requirement for the provision of military Biomedical Scientists (BMS) Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration training pathway. In accordance with the requirements set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Institute of Biomedical Scientists (IBMS), the MoD requires clinical placements to support the contemporaneous academic programme being undertaken. This will ensure all MoD BMS students will achieve the IBMS registration portfolio, pass verification standards and attain IBMS Certificate of Competence in order to become HCPC registered BMS.
