<p>This year marks the 400th anniversary of the Charter of James I which incorporated the City and established a Mayor. Although many of the rights existed since 1189 (Richard I Charter) this Charter is widely recognised as &lsquo;creating&rsquo; the city of Worcester. In 1971 the 350th anniversary was celebrated with a month-long Festival and a souvenir brochure circulated.&nbsp;</p> <p>Local organisations have been invited to get involved by sharing the logo, strapline, web links and other promotional and social media activity. In addition, event organisers and tourist attractions are invited to develop activity that relates directly to the Charter, or commit to participate in the &lsquo;Charter Day&rsquo; celebration on Saturday 2 October in the Guildhall.</p> <p>A photographer and a videographer are required to document relevant events/activities taking place in this anniversary to provide a digital legacy. (We are looking to have one contract for all of the works).</p> <p>Please see the procurement documents for further information.</p> <p>To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents.
