Technical Design Specialist for Highways & Lighting contract

Tender description

Procurement of Technical Design Specialist for Highways & Lighting contract development. The London Borough of Redbridge's Highways and Lighting contracts have been in place since 1st May 2014 and are due to expire on the 30th April 2022. The aim of the re-procurement is to have a modern Highways and Lighting contract that delivers innovation, quality and value for money. Currently, the scope of the existing Highways and Lighting services are covered by three separate contracts. This consultant will need to be able to advise on the entire scope of the existing contracts. The consultants resource needs to be a suitably professionally qualified civil engineer, with at least 15 years' experience in preparing tender and contract documents for major civil engineering works. They also need to have a track record in producing Highway term maintenance contracts.
