SCC LH A30 London Road Camberley Highway Improvement Works - AWARD

Tender description

This contract is being tendered under the Hampshire County Council Generation 4-2 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Frameworks, Lot 1 (S. East). The works are on the A30 London Road, Camberley, starting at the Town Centre (Knoll Road junction) for 1 mile westwards. The Works comprise of improvements to three signalised junctions at Knoll Road, Lower Charles Street and Frimley Road. This includes upgrading the signals at all junctions, converting footway to carriageway, carriageway to footway, modifications to existing central traffic islands, introduction of a traffic island and resurfacing junction and approaches. The Works also consist of the removal of bus lanes and resurfacing between Park Road and Lower Charles Street and Frimley Road and 441 London Road. The Site Information comprises surveys, statutory undertakers' plant plans, plans of the highway extents and traffic counts. These are stored in Volume 5. SCC is seeking to award this contract to a single contractor.
