Provision of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Tender description

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board. The Children, Young People and Family Health Directorate had an urgent requirement for Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Several teams within the Directorate have found that the young people with whom they work (either children looked after or coping with developmental trauma) are presenting to services with high levels of risk. A therapeutic intervention is required to work with this risk. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is the recognised and accepted therapeutic model in this arena.
